If you are warm and happyAs winter approached one year, a Sparrow, tired of the annual fly south just to fly back north the next spring, decided he was not going. However as the cold winter closed in around him, he finally, reluctantly, headed south. But the cold conditions resulted in his wings icing up and finally unable to fly, to crash to the earth. As he laid there, freezing, he knew it was the end and it was over, he would freeze to death in the farmer's barnyard where he landed. Just then a passing cow pooped on him and completely covered him with cow dung. Now, he was certain he had met his end. However, the fresh cow dung warmed him and thawed him out. Warm again, the sparrow started to sing. Just then a passing cat, hearing the singing bird, decided to investigate and dug into the dung. On finding the sparrow, the cat promptly ate it.
